2-in-1 pH & Chlorine Meter | Pool Spa Aquarium Water Tester
2-in-1 pH & Chlorine Meter for Pool, Spa & Aquarium Water
Keep your swimming pool, hot tub, spa, or aquarium water perfectly balanced with this handheld 2-in-1 pH and Chlorine (CL2) Water Quality Meter. This compact analyzer measures both chlorine levels (0.5–6.0 ppm) and pH in one convenient device — no chemical test kits or color-matching guesswork required. Made in Mainland China.
Key Features
- Dual Measurement: Tests both CL2 chlorine levels (0.5–6.0 ppm) and pH value in a single handheld device.
- No Chemicals Needed: Uses a stainless-steel test rod for clean, reagent-free readings every time.
- Recommended Safe Ranges: Chlorine 1.2–1.7 ppm | pH 7.2–7.8 for pool and spa water.
- Easy Calibration: Simple knob-based adjustment system syncs your meter to a reference reading for accurate, consistent results.
- Portable & Handheld: Lightweight, ergonomic design fits comfortably in one hand — ideal poolside or at the spa.
- Versatile Use: Perfect for swimming pools, hot springs, saunas, hot tubs, and aquariums.
- Storage Slot Included: The test rod stores neatly in the built-in slot on the side of the device.
- Battery Operated: Requires 1 × AA 1.5V alkaline battery (not included).
How to Use
Calibrating for Chlorine
- First, test your pool or spa water with a traditional liquid test kit and record the chlorine reading (e.g., 1.5 ppm).
- Insert one AA battery (positive side up) into the handle.
- Hold the meter in one hand and the test rod in the other. Insert the cleaned metal rod into the water up to the black marker line and gently stir.
- With the rod still in the water, turn the knob toward CL until it stops, then slowly turn back until the pointer aligns with your reference reading.
- Remove the rod carefully — note the letter (A–E) where the pointer stops. This is your personal adjustment point.
- Before every chlorine test, return the pointer to this adjustment point.
Testing Chlorine Levels
- Set the pointer to your adjustment point.
- Insert the metal rod into the water to the black marker line. Wait for the pointer to stabilize, then take your reading.
Testing pH Levels
- Leave the test rod in the water and turn the knob toward pH until you hear a beep (remove the battery before reading pH).
- Wait for the pointer to stop swinging, then read the pH value.
- Dry the rod gently and store it in the side slot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does this 2-in-1 pool water tester measure?
A: This handheld meter measures two critical water quality parameters — chlorine (CL2) levels in a range of 0.5 to 6.0 ppm and pH value. Both readings help you maintain safe, balanced pool, spa, or aquarium water without chemical reagents.
Q: Do I need any chemicals or test strips to use this meter?
A: No. Unlike traditional liquid test kits or test strips, this device uses a stainless-steel test rod and an analog pointer system — no chemicals, dyes, or color-matching required. Just insert the rod into your water and read the result.
Q: Is the battery included with the pH and chlorine tester?
A: The meter requires one AA 1.5V alkaline battery, which is not included in the package. You will need to supply your own AA battery before first use.
Q: Can I use this water quality tester for an aquarium or hot tub?
A: Yes! This meter is designed for use in swimming pools, hot tubs, spas, hot springs, saunas, and freshwater aquariums — anywhere you need to monitor chlorine and pH levels for safe water quality.
Q: How often should I calibrate the chlorine adjustment point?
A: It is recommended to verify and recalibrate the adjustment point before each chlorine test session, especially if you change the battery or after extended storage. This ensures your readings remain accurate and consistent.
