Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are the 1000 tagging barbs compatible with other standard tagging guns I already own?
A: Yes! The white polypropylene barbs (5.5 cm / 2.2 in) are designed to work with all standard-size tagging guns on the market, not just the gun included in this kit.
Q: Can this tagging gun attach labels to thick or hard materials like leather and luggage?
A: Absolutely. The gun features a hard shell body with an internal metal mechanism specifically designed to pierce and tag thick, tough materials — including leather, luggage, cardboard boxes, and toys — in addition to everyday fabrics like clothing and socks.
Q: How do I know when I need to replace the needle?
A: If the needle becomes bent, blunt, or tagging feels less smooth, it's time to swap it out. This kit includes 5 spare steel needles, and replacement is simple — push the needle lock, pull out the old needle, insert the new one with the groove facing up, and lock it in place.
Q: Is this tagging gun suitable for a small retail business or just home use?
A: It's great for both! With 1000 barbs included, it can handle high-volume retail tagging sessions as well as smaller DIY or craft projects at home. The lightweight ergonomic design makes extended use comfortable.
