Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this air dry clay safe for use with newborns and babies?
A: This baby handprint and footprint clay kit is designed with little ones in mind and contains no high-concern chemicals. However, always ensure an adult supervises the process when pressing a baby's hand or foot into the clay to ensure comfort and safety throughout.
Q: How long does the clay take to fully dry and harden?
A: The ultra-light air dry clay typically hardens at room temperature within 24–48 hours depending on the ambient conditions. We recommend leaving the imprint undisturbed on a flat surface until completely set for the best results.
Q: Can I paint or decorate the finished handprint or footprint cast?
A: Absolutely! Once fully dried, the clay imprint can be painted with acrylic or craft paints, decorated with glitter, or sealed with a clear varnish to enhance and preserve the colors and fine details of your keepsake.
