Why Choose This Group Head Gasket?

  • Food-Safe Silicone: Made from high-quality, heat-resistant silicone that complies with food safety standards, ensuring safe contact with your coffee and water.
  • Wide Temperature Range: Withstands temperatures from -65°F / -54°C up to 450°F / 230°C — perfectly suited for any home or commercial espresso machine.
  • Universal E61 Compatibility: Fits most modern E61 group heads, making it a versatile and essential spare for your coffee setup.
  • Excellent Leak-Proof Seal: Soft silicone conforms to grooves for a firm, tight seal that keeps moisture contained and reduces replacement frequency.
  • Perfect Dimensions: 73 x 57 x 8.5mm — the ideal size for Gaggia and compatible E61 espresso machines.
  • Durable Navy Blue Design: Distinctive color makes it easy to identify during maintenance.
  • Easy to Replace: Flexible silicone material makes installation and removal straightforward, even for home users.

How to Replace Your Group Head Gasket

  1. Turn the machine off, unplug it from the wall, and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Using a 5/32" Allen Key, unscrew the small screw holding the metal filter grid in the brew head assembly — turn clockwise to loosen. Do not force it.
  3. Use a thin screwdriver to gently ease off the grid.
  4. Ease the old group head seal out with the screwdriver and dispose of it.
  5. Clean the grid of any coffee residue, and thoroughly clean the cavity inside the machine.
  6. Fit the new seal into the machine with the ridge side facing down, then refit the grid onto the seal.
  7. Re-secure with the screw (turn anti-clockwise), being careful not to overtighten.
