Assembly Guidelines

- New cells: Use 18650 power-grade Li-Ion cells only. Balance a group of 5 or 10 cells using matched resistance and capacitance so all cells reach the same voltage before soldering.
- Refurbished/old cells: Test the voltage at both terminals of each cell individually. Charge any lower cells to match the highest cell voltage before proceeding.
- Critical step: Confirm that all cells are at equal voltage before soldering the PCB. Unbalanced cells can damage the protection board or cause unsafe operation.
