Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will the shrink film cover block my remote control's IR signal?
A: No — the thin, clear PVC shrink film is IR-transparent, meaning it will not interfere with the infrared signal your remote sends to your TV, air conditioner, or other devices. Your remote works exactly as normal through the protective cover.
Q: Which size should I choose — S or L?
A: Size S (6 × 25 cm / 2.4 × 9.84 in) suits slimmer or smaller remote controls, while Size L (8 × 25 cm / 3.1 × 9.84 in) fits wider or bulkier remotes. If you are unsure, measure the widest point of your remote and compare to the size dimensions before ordering.
Q: How do I apply the shrink film cover to my remote?
A: Simply slide your remote control into the shrink film sleeve and apply gentle heat (using a hair dryer or heat gun on a low setting) to shrink the film snugly around the remote. The film conforms to the shape of the controller for a secure, custom-looking fit.
Q: Are these covers reusable?
A: These are designed as single-use shrink wrap covers — once heat is applied, the film conforms permanently to the remote's shape. However, each 10-piece pack provides plenty of covers for multiple remotes or future replacements.
